Editorial Policy
Project Cost Atlas is built to be useful first: clear answers, transparent assumptions, and easy-to-use calculators. This policy explains how we write, review, and update our content.
1) Accuracy and transparency
- We publish ranges (Low / Typical / High) and explain what factors push a project up or down.
- We clearly label estimates as informational and encourage readers to get local quotes.
- When we update assumptions, we update the “Last updated” date.
2) People-first experience
- Pages should answer the query quickly (a helpful summary + calculator + key factors).
- We prioritize readability: tables, bullet lists, and plain language.
- We avoid filler content and “SEO fluff.”
3) Advertising and affiliates
- We may display ads (e.g., Google AdSense) and participate in affiliate programs.
- Affiliate relationships do not determine estimates or editorial recommendations.
- We place disclosures clearly and prominently. See Affiliate Disclosure.
4) Corrections
If you spot an issue, email us with the page URL and details. If we confirm an error, we’ll correct it and update the page date.
